This is true, I have terrible eye strain. . I am keen with slight astigmatism, and I have a slight lazy eye. . I have no idea if all these elements are relaated. . . but I really hope I find a way to live my life without books, televisions and computers, they give me pleasure and pain.

This could very well be an indication of eyestrain. It would be useful to get checked by your ophthalmologist.

This suggests that one of your eyes is more dominant than the other. If this is the case (you can check with your eye doctor), then continue doing these eye exercises would be good for you.

When I was younger, I played video games a lot and all the flashing lights make my students grow and smaller, SND, I think I had the symptoms of these small photosensitive seizures, felt like my eye as if it was twitching and eye fatigue (blurred vision) with the words foggy. But My Kinda right eye sees double now when I look back and watch something Theres a blurred image of the same thing over. as a word on tv? Only my right eye, though? top lid covers the pupil? Dyk?

@ Prairie76 Moreover, it is not necessary to form the extraocular eye muscles as they work propably in a normal eye. Only when something goes wrong with your hosting Triassic (convergence, accommodation, miosis). You can not form a presbyopia or someone who has problems due to near paralysis N. 4. Or someone who has a tropia / amblyopie.ps. the lens is responsible for the amount of accommodation that you left, Cumming E. a. 2006 proof that the ciliary muscles still work in old age

In reality, the ability to adjust your near vision and relies heavily on the ciliary muscles that flex the crystalline lens of the eye that required to properly view. The muscles of the eye intra and extra-ocular allow you to move your eyes in different directions. The eye muscles are like other muscles it exercises in the gym, and can be enhanced as a result.

I am not sure of eye movements that you refer, but if you follow the eye exercises as instructed, then they must be useful for maintaining healthy vision and eye fatigue reducind.

@ Edd0esntcare with the “magic sandwich”. If youre not diagnosed with insufficiente Convergence (escape from the eyes turn inward), it could be harmful. The other 2 should be good, although I do not seem to see the usefulness of these exercises, because they do not seem to serve a real purpose. It’s not like going to the gym. It does not work like that. Your eyes are organs, not muscles.

  18. Comment by prairie76 on January 23, 2010 6:18 am

This is not a test. just something that, in fact, relax your eyes. . . In fact, you need to relax, that’s all.

  19. Comment by dirkjan321 on January 23, 2010 6:48 am

for people who have questions. I am in my final year of optometry. The test with the 2 fingers pointing towards each other is useful only if you received a diagnosis of insufficiente convergence. Otherwise, even this test would not do shit. You can not cure myopia, hyperopia, presbyopia or any other thing with this exercise. the other 2 years are just bullshit. Also, if you’re not a Diagnostic Conv. Insuff. These tests could only create probs (causing spasm of accommodation).

Often, people who do eye exercises daily notice that their eyes feel better, even after a week or two of doing eye exercises.

  21. Comment by acumannec on January 23, 2010 8:42 am

Doing eye exercises Dialy will not “cure” myopia, can can help maintain healthy vision and even reduce its order.

if it’s something you absolutely do not believe that you could live with, perhaps you should consider a vitrectomy, the only solution to your concerns. Good luck.
