This book will not help you improve your vision. Buy this other book instead: *The Myopia Myth: The Truth about Nearsightedness And How to Prevent It*.

This book doesn’t help you at all if you want to improve your vision. It is quite an interesting read, but it doesn’t really tell you what to do to improve your vision, apart from gaze at the sun and stare at the enclosed eyechart. I would recommend a book called something like “Improve your vision without glasses or contact lenses” as it is much better.

This book is well written, so that any layman can understand and use the info. it contains. I am pleased with it.

I read this book and got nothing out of it. It’s theories and “techniques” are vague and scientifically unsound. (Bates originally wrote this book in -> ! 1891 ! <- , and it was republished in 1940!) It consists of anecdotes and pseudo-scientific terms in a verbose, repetitive style. In my opinion, this book could easily have been condensed into a 10-page pamphlet.
